Gods and Queens Tour Dates

Part Punk. Part 80s New Wave. Part Grunge. A little early David Bowie. All Philly!!! This amazing sounding band hails from the City of Brotherly love, Philadelphia, PA. This three piece is is led by guitar/vocals Jamie Getz (ex-Lickgoldensky, ex-Versoma), bassist Ben Roysden (Fire In the Hearts And Minds) and drummer Jeff Ziga (Armalite, Affirmative Action Jackson).

With three disks to their credit, the latest, Untitled 3 (EP 2), released in early 2011 is a bombastic romp thru a musical landscape. It's fresh and inviting. Gods and Queens take no prisoners. They are actually a fun band to listen to.

The band is heading out on a European tour for the rest of the year. They've toured Europe for times since 2009 with a majority of those shows being self booked. That's right. It's the Philly style, we'll just do it our damn selves!

Gods and Queens have an almost Spinal Tap way of touring. They have almost been killed driving off a cliff in the Massif Central region of France, accidentally stabbed their European driver early this year, resulting in 38 stitches, and once finished a five-week tour of Europe with a broken-footed drummer. Besides headlining several of their own DIY-booked Euro tours, they’ve also toured stateside with Coliseum, Blacklisted, Young Widows and more. Their live shows consist of a raucous blend of volume and seriousness, blatant antagonism aimed directly towards the audience, or ditching their own songs mid-set to play the entire Land Speed record by Hüsker Dü.

To further cement their uniqueness, all of their albums and song titles are entitled "Untitled" with a number after it. Cheeky.

Catch them if you can on their romp thru Europe. You won't be sorry!
