I've been naughty!



The highlight of my weekend was definitely the first 3 minutes of this video. I've been geeking out over James Patrick Page since 1976 (that I can remember) and to be in the same auditorium (OK - the other two times I've seen him on tour don't count) was just the most amazing thing ever. I totally geeked out the moment I found out he was inducting Jeff Beck.


Get thee to Cleveland!!! And to Cleveland *shudders* I went. But it was totally worth it. I got to swoon and drool and loudly proclaim my fangyrl love for the most amazing guitar player in the world!!! Then to witness yet another performance with Page and Beck!! OMG!!



WOW!! I mean - does it really get any better than this?

If you had as much energy as that first clip showed, you must of had an awesome type geeking and drooling over them GIT-aar players!

Ishi: The Last Yahi

   Ishi (c1861 – March 25, 1916) was the last known member of the Native American Yahi people from the present-day state of California in the United States. The rest of the Yahi (as well as many members of their parent tribe, the Yana) were killed in the California genocide in the 19th century. Ishi, who was widely acclaimed as the "last wild Indian" in the United States, lived most of his life isolated from modern North American culture. In 1911, aged 50, he emerged at a barn and corral, 2 mi (3.2 km) from downtown Oroville, California. Ishi, which means "man" in the Yana language, is an adopted name. The anthropologist Alfred Kroeber gave him this name because, in the Yahi culture, tradition demanded that he not speak his own name until formally introduced by another Yahi.
