If you are going to do something, do it right. Do it to the best of your ability. A Rebel Few have accomplished this and more with the new album As The Crow Flies. It's not enough that they have made some foot tapping, head bobbing music, but they are also raising money on May 22nd in Kitchener, ON to help the victims of the Fort McMurray wildfires.

No, the southern groove rock on As The Crow Flies isn't breaking any mold or shattering boundaries, but As The Crow Flies IS a solid album from start to finish. It's got grooves within groove thanks to drummer Chris Spiers and bassist Adam Shortreed. It has strong vocals from Chris Raposo. It inspires air guitar thanks to Chris' and Barry Martin's guitar playing. This is an album to put on during a party. This is something you want to your friends to listen to and enjoy.

Ishi: The Last Yahi

   Ishi (c1861 – March 25, 1916) was the last known member of the Native American Yahi people from the present-day state of California in the United States. The rest of the Yahi (as well as many members of their parent tribe, the Yana) were killed in the California genocide in the 19th century. Ishi, who was widely acclaimed as the "last wild Indian" in the United States, lived most of his life isolated from modern North American culture. In 1911, aged 50, he emerged at a barn and corral, 2 mi (3.2 km) from downtown Oroville, California. Ishi, which means "man" in the Yana language, is an adopted name. The anthropologist Alfred Kroeber gave him this name because, in the Yahi culture, tradition demanded that he not speak his own name until formally introduced by another Yahi.
