You want some nice old fashioned southern groove in your guitars? Want that mixed with a wall of sound that's almost doomy? How about some spacey vocals that swim just below the surface? If you answered yes to any of these questions, I give you... When The Deadbolt Breaks.
"The Scavengers Daughter" is the first track from the upcoming album Drifting Towards the Edge of the Earth. The first single is a seven and a half minute opus that has shades of Metallica, shades of death metal, shades of southern rock, shades of 70s trippy prog metal. Yet the song flows awesomely. Throughout the song, it never looses the GROOVE!!! The song is nothing short of fantastical.
I anticipate the album being just as extensive as it's over two hours spread on a double CD. You can pick up When The Deadbolt Breaks fourth CD Drifting Towards the Edge of the Earth on October 1.
